Cocoon

 

The projects is inspired by the collection at the Entomology department at the Museum of Manchester which is home to several collections of insects that amount to three million species, making it the third largest in the UK, and the most comprehensive.

 

Cocoon is a place where people produce silk. It is a small workshop both for silk makers and public which adds to the place an an educational aspect.
